Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and weight loss following a bariatric procedure is a long-term commitment. Based on the National Health Institute’s surgical criteria, as well as insurance requirements, MIMIS requires a minimum of ten year’s commitment in regard to follow-up appointments and support.
