BMI calculatorBMI, or Body Mass Index, is a simple math calculation that determines weight-to-height ratio. Morbid obesity is defined as an excess weight of one hundred pounds or more over a person’s ideal body weight, or as having a BMI of 40 or more. 30.0 and above is considered obese, 25.0–29.9 is considered overweight, 18.5–24.9 is considered normal, and 18.5 is considered underweight.
